FG has failed In Protecting Nigerian Lives- Shehu Sani

2 Min Read

A Senator representing Kaduna central at the Senate, Shehu Sani has listed the successes and failures of this current government.

To commemorate the Democracy day which took place today, Shehu Sani took to his Twitter and here he praised the Nigerian government in its fight against corruption.

Ever since President Buhari took over in 2015, there has been a consistent fight against corruption. There have been criticisms against this as some feel that the fight against corruption is only against a certain class of people.

Sani also commended the government for finishing projects that were undertaken by the last administration, most notably the EFCC complex which was completed this year.

Sani, however, criticised the government for not doing enough in terms of security as there have been high levels of death and destruction by terrorist groups and the likes.

He also said that the rights of citizens were still being trampled upon and that the government had also failed in this regard.

Shehu Sani tweeted: Democracy Day;The nation under this Govt has recorded achievements in the areas of fighting corruption, self sufficiency, economy & completion of projects:And has failed in areas of respecting human rights & protecting human lives & respecting principles of separation of powers
