The 16th edition of the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON) took place on Sunday night at the Sugar Factory Film Studios in Ilorin, Kwara State, with Femi Adebayo’s epic Netflix Original Yoruba movie, ‘Jagun Jagun’, emerging as the biggest winner.
‘Jagun Jagun’ won six categories, including Best Indigenous Film, Best Actor, Best Production Design, Best Special Effect, Best Costume, and Director of the Year.
The movie was nominated in 12 categories, solidifying its position as one of the most critically acclaimed films of the year.
Other notable winners include Wunmi Dada, who won Best Actress for her role in ‘Unknown Soja’, and Keppy Ekpenyong, who won Best Supporting Actor for his role in ‘The Weekend’.
