Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has described senators Babafemi Ojudu and Dayo Adeyeye as “blackmailers” that would never be welcomed to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He stated this in apparent reaction to a rift between Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and Ojudu, a Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs, who led others on Sunday to accuse the governor of underperformance.
There have been alleged plots by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State to suspend the presidential aide and others.
Fayemi recently accused Ojudu of being behind a plot to humiliate him by claiming he was turned back at the Presidential Villa while attempting to see President Muhammadu Buhari
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Fayose said Fayemi and the APC were free to deal with Ojudu, Adeyeye and their likes as they saw fit.
He added that any attempts by the APC chieftains and their followers to return to the PDP would be resisted.
“Fayemi/APC should pepper the likes of Ojudu & Adeyeye. They will never be welcomed in PDP.
“Apart from them not having electoral value, they are blackmailers & individuals whose needs are insatiable. Above all, God’s anger has caught up with them in their inordinate quest for power,” Fayose tweeted.
