Popular Catholic cleric, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has urged Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s effort to rid the nation of corruption.
Mbaka, in his New Year prophetic message and Crossover Service, said the nation would face ‘impending unimaginable difficulty’ in 2019 unless Nigerians prayed fervently against it.
He admitted that Nigeria was going through its most diffcult period in its 58-year history and urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the nation and their leaders.
Mbaka called on Nigerians to emulate the Catholic Church in condemning corruption in all its ramifications in Nigeria.
According to him, “prayers against bribery and corruption” programme instituted by the Catholic Church showed that the church was totally against corruption and bribery.
He added, “A President that is fighting corruption needs to be supported.”
