Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has said that the senator representing Kogi West, Sen. Dino Melaye, may emerge Governor of the state if he continues to praise God openly.
Fani-Kayode said this in a tweet on Saturday while reacting to a video of Melaye singing a Christian worship song on the floor of the Upper Chamber.
The Herald can report that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senator was singing the hymn titled, “To God be the glory, great things He hath done” composed by Fanny Crosby in 1875.
In the video, Melaye can be seen in a blue agbada outfit while enthusiastically chanting the lyrics of the popular hymn.

He described Melaye as someone in the category of worshippers who were not ashamed to praise God openly and therefore would attract His blessings.

When u praise the Lord before men, He honors u before the world. When u call His name, even in the prescence of heathans and unbelievers, He blesses u and gives u the fat of the land. If my aburo @dino_melaye goes on this way he may end up being the next Governor of Kogi state. https://t.co/Ztwh6t83y1
