Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has alleged that the occupant of Nigeria’s highest office is not President Muhammadu Buhari as believed by many Nigerians, but an impostor.
He made the allegation in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday night.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain noted that like he warned Nigerians against voting Buhari in 2015 but was ignored, he was duty-bound to expose the alleged impostor claiming to be Buhari.
He said that, “The true identity of the man in the Villa that claims to be Buhari will only be made known after he is defeated and steps down from power. When that happens Nigerians will be shocked to the marrow. In 2015 I warned about his fake certificate. Today I warn about his fake identity.”

Fani-Kayode’s claim is coming more than a year after leader of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu made similar claims.
Addressing his supporters in his Umuahia, Abia State residence in September 2017, Kanu said, “The man you are looking at on the television is not Buhari, he is from Sudan. After extensive plastic surgery they brought him back.
“The person was taught Buhari’s mannerisms and he came back deceiving all of you. I can stand and prove who I am but Buhari cannot do the same thing. He cannot deceive Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB.”
