Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has attacked Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State for saying nothing can stop President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term bid.
The governor made this known at a political rally as part of activities marking his first year in office in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Saturday.
Buhari has not expressed his desire to seek reelection, telling All Progressives Congress (APC) governors in a meeting last week that he needed more time to desire.
But Akeredolu said, “Ondo state is satisfied with the achievement of our President and we want this to continue and nothing can stop this.”
Reacting to the statement via his Twitter handle on Sunday morning, Fani-Kayode expressed displeasure with the statement.
He wondered if God was not capable of stopping the president’s reelection bid.
