The corruption allegations hanging over the neck of former oil minister, Diezani Madueke swings like a famished guillotine with myriad of observers at home and abroad weighing in their two cents.
A columnist with Sun.co.uk took his own jab, with a witty but played out jab alluding to the famous Nigerian 419 email scams.
The magazine reported that Madueke is alleged to have stolen a phenomenal sum of £13 billion (N3.9 trillion) and had attempted to buy a property in Hyde park, an exclusive London suburb where an apartment can set you back £75 million (N22.6 billion).
As Nigerians await the formal filing of charges against the former minister in British court, it remains to be seen whether there is any substance to the sheer volume of money, Mrs. Alison-Madueke is alleged to have embezzled.
