Social networking site Facebook has extended search results on the site to include posts, instead of only displaying people and pages.
Prior to the change, enquiries using the search box on the site only turned up relevant people and pages consistent with the wordings of the search.
As it is now, anytime a user uses the search box, relevant entries from people, pages, news items, text and every other relevant information turns up.
Search results on Facebook now highlights posts from trusted news sources, then posts from people in your network, followed by lists of the most popular links or quotes about the topic, and then strangers, in that order.
Also integrated into the changed search parameter is the news search which enables users get access to big and trending news stories and live events.
