Leicester City’s dressing room was akin to a typical Nigerian nightclub as players jammed to Dr. Sid’s “Over The Moon” after the club’s 1-0 victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
The 2016 Premier League champions, which have Nigerian internationals Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi in their ranks, celebrated the victory with visibly elated players jamming to songs from different parts of the world.
One of those that caught the attention of fans was the monster hit from defunct Mo’Hit act, Dr. Sid featuring K-Switch.
Over The Moon was released in 2010 as part of Dr Sid’s album, ”Turning Point”.
It enjoyed massive airplay in Nigeria and many other African nations.
Leicester City won the FA Cup courtesy of a 63rd-minute goal from Youri Tielemans.
