Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has described Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as the Chairman of the National Association of Short People.
He made this known in a humorous tweet on Monday in response to a tweet from popular comedian, Teju Babyface.
The humour merchant had tweeted a video of a 2010 interview with el-Rufai in which the former FCT Minister described himself as secretary-general of the imaginary association, drawing laughter from the live audience.
In the video, he also described Teju as a member of the association.
Responding to a question from the comedian, El-Rufai admitted that he used to feel concerned about his diminutive stature when he was a teenager and well into his 20s.
He said this was particularly so because all the pretty girls were taller than him, drawing another round of laughter from the audience.
“But with time, I got over it; i managed to get a really pretty and intelligent lady to marry who was an inch shorter than me,” El-Rufai said, drawing a round of applause from the audience.
