2 Min Read

The identity of the Department of State Service (DSS) operatives responsible for knocking down Omoyele Sowore in the courtroom has been exposed.

Deji Adeyanju, Human rights Activist and Co-Convener of Concerned Nigerians has exposed the identity of a particular DSS operative who has manhandled Sowore on several occasions.

Deji Adeyanju made this known via his Twitter handle;

“The name of the DSS operative who dragged Sowore down & was strangulating him inside court room is Marshall.

Adeyanju also accused Marshall of making a mockery of him after he confronted him about the court invasion that led to Sowore’s violent  re-arrest at the chambers of Sowore’s legal counsel, Femi Falana.

He is very well known to us all. He was laughing when I challenged about his actions at Falana’s chambers when they came looking for Sowore’s classmate “Mandate”.

Sowore has been in the detention of DSS since August 3, 2019 after he planned a protest #RevolutionNow to make the government aware of the poor living conditions of the Nigerian citizens.

The Security agency has on two occasions freed court orders authorising the release of the Sahara Reporters Publisher.
