Christian Chukwu, a former Super Eagles Coach on Monday advised the team to exhibit team-spirit in order to defeat Argentina in their last group match at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Eagles are billed to meet Argentina on Tuesday in their last group D to determine their advancement to the next round of the tournament.
Chukwu in a telephone interview with NAN said the Eagles also needed to be united in order to defeat Argentina in the make or mar encounter.
“There is nothing I will tell them, rather than for them to exhibit team-spirit and be united with themselves against Argentina to win the crucial match.
“They should put in all their best because they know what is at stake as the match will determine their continuation in the FIFA World Cup,” Chukwu said.
NAN reports that the Eagles who defeated Iceland 2-0 in their second group match needed at least a draw against Argentina to qualify for the round of 16 at the World Cup.(NAN)
