The home of a former Vice president of the country under the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, Namadi Sambo was raided yesterday by operatives from the State Security Service, SSS, and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, ICPC.
The former vice president’s home located at No. 1 Alimi road in Kaduna state was raided by the security and anti-corruption agency’s men at about 3:00pm.
Operatives were reported to have left the house at about 5:10pm after conducting a thorough search of the property.
The SSS and ICPC operatives were reported to have stormed the residence armed with court paper, they reportedly handed over a copy of the search warrant to the ex-vice president’s Chief Security Officer and proceeded on to search the property.
The operatives were said to have left without seizing any item from the house and further minuted that the found nothing on the copy of the court paper handed over to Sambo’s CSO.
