Ex-Minister Plans To Destroy Our Party Secretariat Before Decamping To Another Party – PDP Cries Out

PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has raised the alarm over purported plots to attack the party secretariat in the state.

According to a Tuesday statement, the party said the suspended chairman, Damishi Sango was planning to attack the party secretariat with hired thugs.

The statement signed by the state’s Publicity Secretary, John Akans, said that Sango, a former Minister of Sports, was orchestrating the move ahead of his defection to another party.

Akans said, “Information made available to the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party this morning,(yesterday) indicates that the suspended chairman and his deputy are desperately on a mission to attack the state secretariat of our great party, using APC’s thugs from Angwan Rogo, Gangare of Jos North LGA.

“We are reliably informed that the intense efforts and desperate moves by the suspended chairman is to cause disaffection within the party in preparation to their planned exit from the party which has been their plan since before and after the election.”

He said that the party hierarchy was disappointed that instead of staying true to his role as an elder, Sango bore ill-will towards the party.
