Former Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi has asked the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), to pay him a compensation of a billion naira for defamation.
Last week, it was reported that the Big Boss has dragged the federation to court for “wrongful dismissal and defamation”.
According to a source: “Keshi’s lawyers have demanded for a billion naira from the NFF as compensation for defaming their client.”
The NFF received the letter from the Kaduna-based law firm on Friday.
Keshi was fired as the national team coach on July 5, after a disciplinary committee found him guilty of applying for the vacant Ivory Coast job.
