The Lagos State Police Command says operatives of its Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested an ex-convict, Wasiu Olawale, and three others for traffic robbery along MKO Abiola Gardens on Christmas Eve.
In an X post on Tuesday, the command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said Olawale, 23, was released from prison in May 2023.
He identified the other three arrested suspects as Adebayo Olatunbosun (20), Wale John (28) and Uche Ugwu (25).
He said that stolen phones and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards were recovered from the suspects.
He added that the suspects were assisting the police in their investigations.
