Nigeria’s largest bank by market capitalization, GTBank Plc has debuted an easier and more convenient way to recharge airtime on the go.
For instance, by dialing *737*500# a GTBank account holder with GENS alerts on their phone will receive 500 Naira platforms.
The code is the same for all networks and is only available to MTN, Etisalat and Airtel customers.
The Herald has tried the shortcode and it worked for us on the second trial.
We even got an MTN VTU alert and then a GENS Transaction Debit Alert from GTBank.
