He said: “I am a businessman from Igbo by tribe, during the weekend i was at the Gurara Falls with my wife to catch some fun just as we all have heard about Gurara Falls, a tourist centre, for attraction, I took my wife to see how the tourist centre for attraction is truly like when suddenly five men heavily armed emerged from the bush, force us and two other men they captured to the bush like a thick forest.

“They took us from one bush to another, collected all our phones and at every interval they will give us our phones to call our relatives so as to prepare for negotiations if is necessary.

“We were held in captive from Saturday, February 28, at 10 am the following day which is Sunday, March 1, at 1am when suddenly help truly from above in form of human which is the Policemen came to our aid to rescue us.

“We thank God that by now it would have been a story that our enemy is been used for ritual purpose or killed fairly to meet up with the kidnappers price tag placed.”

When contacted, the Suleja Area Commander, Abubakar A. Yahaya, confirmed the incident, saying that “from the frequent calls placed by the victims to relatives we were able to trace the forest where the kidnappers held them.”

He said: “I had to mobilise my men first to save lives. Yes, we need to save life and property first which is very important in any situation of such.

“If we decide to go into battle with the kidnappers we will lose life.

So we quickly had to save them first and the police had to escort them back to their home in Abuja where they claimed they came from before this ugly incident took place.”
