Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu today visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House with pictorial evidence of the massive destruction that trailed the #EndSARS unrest in Lagos.
Sharing the photos, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said, “President Buhari receives Report on the Level of Destruction suffered by Lagos State in the aftermath of the recent #ENDSARS Protest from Governor Babajide Sanwoolu in State House on 6th Nov 2020”.

Between October 8 and 23, youths in Lagos trooped out to demand an end to police brutality.
They were joined by their counterparts across the nation.
However, hoodlums hijacked the protests, wreaking havoc on private properties and public institutions.
The palace of the Oba of Lagos, Igbosere High Court, Nigeria Police Authority (NPA) building, police stations among others were looted and/or set ablaze.
A warehouse storing COVID-19 palliatives was also set ablaze in the Mazamaza area of the state.
Sanwo-Olu estimated that it would cost the state N1 trillion to replace destroyed properties.
