EndSARS Protests Resurface as Protesters Storm Osun State House of Assembly

#EndSARS Protesters in the various Nigerian states have decided that it surely is too early to give up on their fight against Police brutality and injustice in Nigeria.

Despite the Police warnings to resist any form of protests without hesitation following the first phase of the EndSARS protests in Nigeria which was eventually hijacked by hoodlums, a few citizens hit the roads in their quest to begin a second phase of the protests.

On Monday in Osun state, Protesters were seen walking the roads of Osogbo (Osun State Capital), demanding the immediate release of all wrongfully detained protesters and an unfreezing of their bank accounts by the CBN.

The protesters set off at the Ogo-Oluwa area of the state capital and marched all the way down to the Osun State House of Assembly bearing placards in their hands.

They also touched down at the State Secretariat in Abere, Osun state.

A few among the placards that were help up high read;  “#End Bad Judiciary in Nigeria”, “We are not fighting for any political party”, ”#End fake judicial panel of Inquiry in Osun”, “Unfreeze all the frozen account”, ” We are Nigerian youths”.

Hints of Fresh protests also surfaced in Lagos as a few witnesses and social media users revealed that dozens of security personnel conveyed at the Lekki toll gate in the early hours of today.

Soldiers and policemen were reportedly deployed to the Lekki Toll Gate over fresh fears of protests in the state.
