“The Interview” was released on Christmas eve and it has got everyone confused on whether rapper Eminem is gay or not.
The controversial Sony pictures comedy movie which led to terrorist attack on the Company started airing following an intervention from the US government.
Eminem made a cameo appearance in the movie and in an interview with Skylark (Franco) and (Rogen), he said:
“When I say things about gay people, or people think my lyrics are homophobic — it’s because I’m gay.
Skylar reacted, “[People] are probably shocked by what you’re saying.”
Eminem deadpans, “I’m more shocked people haven’t figured it out yet. I mean, it’s kind of like I’ve been playing gay peekaboo”.
What’s not clear is if he truly is gay or it’s only a movie character, but that’s also bewildering as he is playing Marshall Mathers (his real name ) in the movie.
