A former member of the Benin All Progressive Congress, Chief Osamede Adun, placed a curse on any member of the party that goes back to the APC

Chief Adun gave up the ruling party and decamped to the opposition party, PDP, citing vindictiveness and high-handedness as some of the reason for him crossing party lines.

He said:  “We are back home to the PDP. I am placing a curse on anybody who comes here to spy on us with the intention of going back to the APC. There is a curse on anybody here who goes back to APC. We are through with the ruling party and will never go back to that party. Woe betides anybody here who goes back to APC. There is poverty everywhere. That is the only achievement of APC. We are back to make PDP better than we met it.”

Adun was a member of the PDP before who initially defected to the ruling party and said he wanted to come back after witnessing atrocities from the ruling party.

He also claimed that after helping the party win in Edo state, new governor, Godwin Obaseki, made moves against his very own supporters, chucking them in jail and demolishing their homes.
