The Independent National Electoral Commision (INEC), Ekiti State, has appointed Mr Alani Oduntan, as the new Administrative Secretary.

The new acting head, takes over from Dr Muslim Omoleke, who is said to have retired from active service.
He is also to function as the Acting Resident Electoral Commissioner, (REC) in the state, as done by the retiring Administrative Secretary, since there is currently, no substantive REC in the state.
Head of Voter Education and Publicity of the Commission in the state, Alhaji Taiwo Gbadegesin, confirmed the develoment to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Ado-Ekiti, on Saturday.
According to him, Oduntan, who is to act as the Administrative Secretary of the Commission, will serve as “the Head of all Electoral Operations of the Commission in the state.”
He said the new Administrative Secretary had since assumed duties, assuring the public that INEC in the state, would continue to diligently deliver on its constitutional responsibilities to the society.
