The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has re-arrested the former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode after he stepped out of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
Recall that the anti-graft agency had earlier arrested and detained the former Director of Media and Publicity of the ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign committee.
The case for which Femi Fani Kayode appeared in court before he was whisked away by men of the EFCC bordered on a 17 count charge of unlawful retention, unlawful use and unlawful payment of money to the tune of about N4.9 billion.
Following Femi Fani Kayode’s appearance in court, he was ushered into a waiting Toyota Hiace bus by two operatives of the EFCC dressed in white kaftan.
