The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday apprehended six suspected Internet fraudsters in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The operatives of the EFCC were said to have raided their hideout at the Kolapo Ishola Estate, Akobo area of the city.
It was gathered that the early morning bust followed series of petitions by residents of the community detailing the alleged illegal activities of the suspects.

The suspects, whose ages range from 24 to 30 years, are Tella Adefemi Ibrahim, Awoniyi Adeseye Abiodun, Oladele Olawale Wasiu, Olabiti Afeez Ajibola, Akeredolu Oluwafemi Temidayo and Oyaremi Olalekan Olabode.
It was also revealed that the intelligence gathered on the suspects suggested that they were deeply involved in fraudulent activities, including love scams and different forms of Internet fraud, through which they obtained money from unsuspecting victims.
Items recovered from the suspects included five different models of exotic cars, laptops, mobile phones, and several documents on which they allegedly made false representations.
