The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has quizzed the former Nigeria Immigration Service boss, David Parradang over his alleged corrupt practices while at the helms of affairs.
According to the spokesperson for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, the former immigration boss was interrogated earlier on Monday.
Mr Parradang was suspended by President Buhari in August, weeks after a wanted terrorist, Alhmad Al-assir secured a Nigerian visa from Lebanon.
He is however, being quizzed for his alleged role in the 2014 immigration recruitment exercise during which applicants were made to pay a thousand Naira each.
It was alleged that the botched recruitment exercise yielded about 600 million Naira, but the immigration service declared 45 million Naira only.
Several job seekers died at different locations during the exercise that was cancelled by the former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
