The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has began making moves to seize all properties belonging to ex-first lady, Patience Jonathan.
EFCC had initially frozen four companies traced to the Special Adviser to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan on Domestic Affairs, Waripamowei Dudafa.
The anti-graft agency, in a similar move, froze an account belonging to the former first lady after $5million was found in her account domiciled with Skye bank.
While investigations are still ongoing regarding the frozen bank account, Patience Jonathan had dragged the EFCC to court claiming damages of N200 million for freezing her account.
The anti-graft agency decided to set up a team of investigators to identify her properties while focusing on Lagos, Abuja, Yenagoa and Port Harcourt.
The office of the chairman, who is still responsible for handling the case, have revealed that the identification of the properties will further prepare them for possible court action after the properties have been marked.
