He said,” within the two years under review, the are projects that are completed or at various stages of execution and completion.

” These are part of the dividends of democracy provided by the government of Gov. Aminu Tambuwal.”

Kilgori enumerated some of the projects to include the establishment of Government Secondary School, Balle, in Gudu local government, at N 1.2 billion and has reached 60 per cent completion.

He said others are the rehabilitation of Gamji Girls College, Rabah, the birthplace of the late Premier of Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello, at N317.7 million.

” rehabilitation, expansion and upgrading of schools are also ongoing across the 23 local government areas of the state.

” This is in addition to the provision of laptops, laboratory facilities, consumables, assorted furniture and payment of counterpart funds, among others.”

Kilgori further said that the ministry had recorded several achievements in all component activities of the Basic and Secondary Education.

” All hands must be on deck to ensure equal access to qualitative and functional education to all children in the state,” the Commissioner added. (NAN)
