The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that collated results from 17 out of the 18 local government areas in Edo State were still being expected at its headquarters in Benin City.
According to the commission, this was responsible for the delay in collation at the state level.
The INEC National Commissioner overseeing the Edo guber poll, May Agbamuche-Mbu stated this Sunday morning, noting that at least seven LGA results were needed before the state collation could commence.
