The President, Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Rev. Stephen Panya has strongly berated the Federal and Kaduna state governments for failing to end the killings in Southern Kaduna.
Panya’s position was communicated in a statement he signed and issued to journalists in Jos, Plateau State on Thursday.
His stance comes a few days after the Presidency said that critics either do not understand or refuse to acknowledge the complexities involved in the crisis.
The ECWA president lamented that Fulani bandits were decimating Christians in various communities in Nigeria particularly in Southern Kaduna.
According to him, Christians are being killed in their farms without provocation.
Panya said that those that escaped being killed have become displaced and denied access to their farmlands.
“It is very disturbing that these daily onslaughts on Christians in Kaduna State and Southern Kaduna in particular have been going on for too long unattended by the Federal and State Governments as if the lives of Christians no longer matter in the areas under attacks,” the ECWA president said.

He noted that the manner of the attacks indicated that the assailants stayed not too far away from the affected communities.
“It would be recalled that the Adara paramount ruler was killed alongside his aides in a very gruesome manner in 2018 by the same suspected armed Fulani herdsmen, an assault that are believed to have been sponsored by government agents due to the outspoken stand of the monarch against attacks on his people,” the ECWA president added.
