Former Chairman of the disbanded Presidential Pension Reforms Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina has been handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for thorough investigation.
Maina was handed to the EFCC by the operatives of the Department of State Service known as DSS.
According to Vanguard, a top source in EFCC, who spoke on the condition of anonymity confirmed Maina’s hand over to the Vanguard reporter.
He also affirmed that the former Chairman was already getting questioned on several financial crimes allegedly committed under his watch.
These crimes include contract scams which were never executed during his tenure as Chairman of the Presidential Pension Reforms Task Team.

DSS arrested Abdulrasheed Maina earlier during the week in an undisclosed location , an unnamed hotel. Maina was with his son when he was arrested. His son in a bid to resist his father’s arrest pulled out a loaded gun on the operatives of the DSS.
