Dennis Amachree, Former Assistant Director of State Services has claimed he would have tendered his resignation if he was the one charged with corruption like Ibrahim Magu, Acting Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This is coming after Magu was reportedly arrested by DSS operatives and grilled for over six hours by a Presidential Panel.
The Panel was headed by Isa Malami who is a former President of the Court of Appeal
Amachree who appeared on Sunrise Daily, a TV programme on Channels said it would be difficult for Magu to carry on with his duties as EFCC Boss even if the panel does not find him guilty after investigation.
According to the former DSS Director, the noble and right thing to do was to resign from the position of Acting Chairman of the anti-graft agency as he would do the same if he were in the same situation,
