Canadian rapper, Drake, has revealed the release date for his much anticipated album, Views From The 6.
He returned to OVO Sound Radio to do his own set and premiered something to
get fans stoked for the album release. Following the track, “Summer Sixteen,” he decided to finally let the release date for his long awaited album Views From The 6 go.
“We’re here working overtime on it tryna make it everything I know it should be and the album itself will be coming in April 2016, so 416, you know what’s where I’m from,” he said in reference to the Toronto area code.
For now, the actual day in April remains unknown, but fans are keeping their fingers crossed, hoping the rapper does not move the date.
Drake, who is currently in a feud with fellow rapper, Meek Mill, will be hoping this album silences the Philadelphia rapper. Meek Mill recently released an EP in which he insulted Drake.
