Music mogul, Dr. Dre has threatened to summon every guest from his 1996 wedding with Nicole Young as their divorce get messier.
The 55-year-old music tycoon and Nicole Young are battling over her share of his estimated $1 billion business empire and the central issue of the dispute is a premarital agreement (PMA) they signed just before they married in Maui, Hawaii.
Nicole Young claims she was ‘coerced’ into signing the PMA but after their marriage, Dre tore it up in a romantic gesture of love for her.
However, Dre insists he never forced Nicole to sign the document nor did he destroy it, and now he wants it to be enforced.
In court documents obtained by the Mail, Dre said he would like Young to “identify by name and most current known address and telephone numbers of all persons who attended” their wedding.
His lawyer, LA attorney Laura Wasser who has also represented Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian suggested that the guests are “potential witnesses regarding her claim of duress.”
Nicole has claimed that Dre’s lawyers have shown her various versions of the premarital agreement, one that’s missing pages and is unsigned, the other that’s only signed by the couple and not by a lawyer witness or notary public.
