Spokesperson to the former president Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Acting President of the country, Yemi Osinbajo over his comments about prayer and fasting not moving the nation forward.
Recall that the Acting President had at an event over the week noted that he is a Pastor and a spiritual person and knows that prayer and fasting without hard work cannot move the country forward.
In reaction to the statement made by the Acting President while addressing some civil servants in Abuja on Wednesday May 24th, Doyin Okupe took to his social media page to set the Acting President straight.
Doyin Okupe who is in disagreement with Osinbajo’s take “prayer and fasting alone cannot help grow Nigeria if the needed hard work is not put into it,” wrote on his social media page:
