German Side Borussia Dortmund will consider an offer of £90 million for star winger Jadon Sancho. BILD reports.
This is below the reported £115 million fee announced by The Telegraph that Manchester United may have to pay for the winger.
Sancho is an outstanding but still inconsistent young player, and United are buying potential rather than the finished product. 20 goals and 18 assists this season is plenty to work with.

£90 million is an important fee for United, and for Dortmund. It allows both teams to walk away from the deal and say ‘we won’.
From United’s perspective, we will see it as a victory as Dortmund have climbed down on previous figures. The Mirror had previously tipped the move to cost £120 million.
It also avoids the fee reaching £100 million plus, which in the current financial climate would be viewed as an obscene spend. It may just be a small difference, but it will be important for United from a PR-perspective that the fee is a seven-figure sum, rather than an eight-figure one.
As far as Dortmund are concerned, it is an eight-figure fee, with the price of £90 million equating to 100 million Euros.
This allows them to present the case to their fans and the German media that they won the deal.
They will also be cashing in on a player who now seems to want out, and who they can no longer contain, while amassing a hefty fee to finance their own plans.

By a margin of £1 million, he will become Manchester United’s record signing, edging the fee paid to Juventus for Paul Pogba in 2016.
While this adds a little pressure, it also gives Sancho prestige, and he will feel like a player who the club pulled out all the stops to sign.
With the iconic seven shirt available and likely the number he will be assigned, Sancho will be under no illusions as to just how important he is when he signs at his new club.
