Wizzy’s been hanging out with a lot of American hip hop artists of late, he was spotted with Young Jeezy in a studio and at another time, just chilling somewhere on the continental United States.
It seems the emcee vibes may be rubbing off on Weezy as his new single Trap King is actually a bit of a certified banger. There are not too many released records of Wizkid rapping, although this reporter and a few other people in his inner circle may have heard a Wizkid rap track or two.
His growth as a musician shines through as he channels his inner rapper, it kind of flows naturally, but one wonders if Wizkid has a ghost writer on this record or if he actually spit these playful melodious bars on his own.
Notable bars come in on the second verse:
I show up, your chick disappear ta-da thats me//Snapbacks and rollies I know OG’s thats me.
Whatever the case, its not a bad effort, and the production is catchy. R2Beez also guest star on the track.
