Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, wife of the Ekiti Governor, on Thursday urged women not to be lions in their homes, to avoid chasing their husbands away to “wolves’’.
She gave the advice during a prayer summit organised for Ekiti women at Adunni Olayinka Women Centre, in Ado-Ekiti.
The governor’s wife appealed to the women have positive attitudes and be home builders in order to keep their homes.
She also charged them to have positive influence in their homes and in society at large.
Fayose urged the women to be creative and innovative, rather than being burdens on their husbands.
She said that if need be, women could also engage in petty trading to assist their husband and children.
The governor’s wife advised them to take proper care of their children for a better future.
Also speaking at the prayer, the Permanent Secretary, Ekiti State Ministry of Health, Dr Folake Olomojobi, urged women to take proper care of their bodies and be mindful of what they eat.
She advised them to take their personal hygiene seriously by bathing twice daily to avoid body odour, which their husbands would not like.
Olomojobi said that women, by keeping clean, would be able to make their husbands happy and keep their homes. (NAN)
