The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) should not bother to challenge his victory at the state election petition tribunal because he will win there too.
The governor made this known in a chat with reporters in Kano over the weekend.
Ganduje, the APC candidate garnered 1,033,695 votes to defeat PDP candidate, Alhaji Abba Kabir, who scored 1,024,713 votes after the March 23 gubernatorial supplementary election.
However, Kabir was leading Ganduje in the March 9 gubernatorial election before it was declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Ganduje accused the PDP of colluding with the police and political thugs to rig the March 9 polls.
He said that the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammadu Wakili, assisted the PDP to rig the election.
The governor disclosed that he would soon set up a committee to organise his inauguration for second term.
