Don’t Blame Kachikwu, You brought Buhari into Power – PDP to Tinubu

2 Min Read

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have blasted opposition party, All Progressive Congress leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over his comments as regarding the Minister of State for Petroleum and the linking of the current lingering scarcity to the past administration led by PDP.

The PDP speaking through its Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Jalo pointed out that the former Lagos state Governor had no moral justification for meddling and criticising the Minister taking his role in the emergence of the current administration into account.

The party said; “If there is anybody that can condemn Kachikwu in this country it is not Bola Tinubu, knowing the antecedents and record of Bola Tinubu who was Lagos State governor. We need a credible person to do that,”

The PDP added that the APC, without regarding the Economic conditions of the country and in a bid to hurriedly buy the attention of Nigerians had promised what they could not deliver. It said “Without considering the implication and the economic downturn. They were in a hurry to make some statements with regards to petroleum and other issues of the nation.”

On the other hand, the PDP also laid blame on the Minister of states for Petroleum’s comment as regards not being a magician, the party noted that; “It is wrong for him to say he is not a magician, it is equally bad for him as a minister to allow fuel scarcity to linger for such a long time. We have the means, the government is mapping out a lot of money from looters and other sources. So what went wrong?” PDP asked.
