Danladi Idriss, the medical doctor who was quoted to have said Amina Ali Nekki, the rescued Chibok secondary school girl is pregnant has made clarifications.
According to him, the young lady who is now nursing a four-month-old baby, is not pregnant as earlier reports had confirmed.
The 19-year-old lady had been rescued by a vigilante group on Tuesday, May 17 in Baale village, which is along the fringes of the Sambisa forest and has been made to see President Muhammadu Buhari.
Daily Trust quoted him to have said: “I never said the girl is pregnant because I’m not the one who checked her after she was rescued. I did not see Amina personally.
“The only people who can give information about her state of health are the doctors who attended to her at the military facility in Maiduguri.”
