The Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly has reacted to the alleged bribery scandal which was unveiled by Sahara Reporters after an audio tape revealing his alleged shady dealings with Justice Akon Ikpeme, the tribunal judge who handled his election case in 2015 surfaced online.
The audio file which was released online also revealed that the judge has begged Senator Dino Melaye to secure a job placement for a person who was referred to as the judge’s “daughter” with the Cross Rivers State Ministry of Health.

The controversial senator who was some months ago embroiled in a certificate scandal after the online news platform alleged that he did not graduate from the Geography department of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria took to his social media page to address the allegation.
In reaction, Dino Melaye took to his Twitter page to write: “Sahara reporters and awada kerikeri. Using voice over to malign me because my case with them comes up in a few days time. (5th June 2017).”
