Following the leak of an audio tape which was purported to be a conversation between Senator Dino Melaye and Justice Akon Ikpeme, the tribunal judge who handled his election case in 2015, a new report has alleged that the judge has confessed to the alleged crime.
According to Sahara Reporters, the audio tape which allegedly implicated the Senator as the conversation involved an alleged payment in US dollars has according to Sahara Reporters been authenticated.
Sahara Reporters reported that “Justice Akon Ikpeme reached out to an aide to @NGRPresident sought help to save her career. She revealed that @dino_melaye paid her”
