Diddy Combs Indicted for Sex Trafficking of Three Women

2 Min Read

Prosecutors have accused hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs of trafficking at least three women in a decades-long sexual abuse scheme.

A new indictment, filed on Thursday, builds on Combs’ previous charges, alleging that he transported three female victims and commercial sex workers across state and international borders. While the charges remain the same—racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution—the indictment expands the scope of allegations against the 55-year-old music producer.

Combs, who was initially indicted in September with one alleged victim, had pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors have now called for his re-arraignment, and his trial is scheduled to begin on May 5 in Manhattan federal court.

“Mr. Combs is as committed as ever to fighting these charges and winning at trial,” said his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo.

According to prosecutors from the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office, Combs used his business empire—including his record label, Bad Boy Entertainment—to exploit women sexually. Allegations include coercing women into recorded sexual acts, known as “freak offs,” with male sex workers transported across state lines.

The new indictment also accuses Combs of abusing employees and intimidating witnesses to silence them. Prosecutors claim he enticed victims with drugs such as ketamine, ecstasy, methamphetamine, and psychedelic mushrooms, along with financial and career incentives.

While the alleged victims remain unnamed, one is believed to be his former girlfriend, R&B singer Casandra Ventura, known as Cassie. She had previously accused him of physical abuse, sexual slavery, and rape in a civil lawsuit that was settled a day after being filed.

In a separate incident from March 2016, which closely resembles Cassie’s claims, prosecutors say hotel security footage captured Combs striking and dragging a woman trying to escape a “freak off.” Combs later apologized in May after CNN aired the footage, but his lawyer maintains that it does not constitute evidence of sex trafficking.
