Man United coach Louis Van Gaal has confirmed that Angel Di Maria wasn’t fielded for the match against Newscastle as a result of a Pelvic Injury.
The Argentine had limped off the pitch after the club’s 3-0 win over Hull Cith on Nov 29.
He reportedly trained with the team for the Boxing Day match and was said to have suffered a Pelvic injury while at it.
Words are not yet out on the extent of the injury and how long he will be off the pitch.
“He stepped out of the warm up,” Van Gaal said. “It was a Little bit amazing because he did everything very well, but
he stepped out, and now we have to see the analysis.
“The pelvis is not in a right relationship, with his leg,” was the Dutchman’s description of the forward’s latest injury.
“It is more for the doctor to explain not for me.”
