Destruction of Posters Is a Threat to Peace – Agbaje

Peoples Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje has said that the destruction of posters of opposition parties is a threat to peace.

Agbaje who spoke during a visit by the US Ambassador, James Entwistle, to his campaign office in Lagos on Friday said “The destruction of the posters of opposition parties is unacceptable. It is a threat to peace.”

In a statement signed by his Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Felix Oboagwina, Agbaje was also quoted as saying that Lagos is not ready for the voters exercise; he said “We are not comfortable with the issue of voter’s cards in Lagos State because we have areas where the PVCs are not ready. We are not just ready for this exercise.”
