Deranged Maid Mixes Employer’s Food With Urine, Menstrual Blood

2 Min Read

A maid has been been charged to court for serving her employer’s family with food that she mixed with urine and menstrual blood.

Canares Rowena Ola, 43 is accused of giving the meal to the occupants of one particular flat in Sengkang in the island city-state of Singapore in December 2018.

Neither the identity of the victims or a possible motive was revealed in court, but according to the police, it is known that the dish was eaten.

However, it is unclear what would have transpired between the family and the maid to make her serve them with such an outrageous meal.

The maid however pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against her in court.

Her lawyer Kalaithasan Karuppaya said his client was disputing the charge, Channel News Asia reports.

“She’s disputing that such a thing happened. She never committed this offence,” he said.

Unfortunately, the tainted food could not be tested by the court because the family consumed the whole food.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Keith Jieren Thirumaran told District Judge Marvin Bay that Ola had earlier admitted to the offence in several statements to the authorities, according to local reports.

Her pre-trial hearing will take place next month.
