The senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Sen. Shehu Sani, highlighting the areas of success and failure of the country under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari
The All Progressives Congress (APC) senator made this known in an early morning tweet today, May 29, the 19th anniversary of the current democratic dispensation.
According to Sani, Nigeria has fared well in the area of fighting corruption, self-sufficiency, economy and completion of projects.
However, Sani, who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign and Local Debts, said the Buhari administration has failed in the areas of respect for human rights, protection of human lives and respect for principle of separation of powers.
He said, “Democracy Day;The nation under this Govt has recorded achievements in the areas of fighting corruption,self sufficiency,economy & completion of projects:And has failed in areas of respecting human rights & protecting human lives & respecting principles of separation of powers.”
