British-Nigerian actress Deborah Ayorinde has received critical acclaim for her role in the number 1 series on Amazon Prime at the moment ‘THEM’.
The series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, April 9th 2021 and the horror movie is about the Emory family as they move into an all-white neighbourhood in the 1950s.
Ayorinde plays Lucky Emory, a housewife. She says she initially fell in love with Them because of the writing: “It was one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking pieces of writing that I’d ever read…it was written like poetry,” she says, adding, “And I could see everything that Little Marvin was trying to put on paper.”

The actress was born in London, England. At age seven, she performed in her first play with a drama school in the Forest Gate area of London. It was there that she developed a passion for the performing arts.
However, she and her family relocated to San Jose, California just one year later. After the move, Deborah continued to explore the world of performing arts.
The 33-year-old actress first appeared on screens in a 2010 episode of Meet the Browns (she played Chloe).
Since then, she has landed TV roles which include: Luke Cage (Candace) and True Detective (Becca Hays), while also having starred in The Village (Dana), The Affair (Jessa), Game of Silence (Young Nurse Amy), Sleepy Hollow (Michelle) and Constantine(Officer Sullivan).
